Winston Churchill Gran Toro LE 2016

Churchill may have had a way with words, but Davidoff has a knack for telling a story without uttering a sound.

In 2016, Davidoff released a LE format for their Winston Churchill line and dubbed it the "Raconteur". This 6"×56 Gran Toro is wrapped in silky Ecuador Habano over a Mexican San Andrés binder and a deep bench of Dominican (San Vicente, Piloto, Hybrid Olor/Piloto) and Nicaraguan (Condega, Estelí) fillers.

Light up and it eases in with roasted nuts, honeyed cereal, and clean cedar; the middle act brings chocolate cream and a hint of orchard fruit; the close lingers on salted-cedar earth with Davidoff-smooth discipline.
