The highly sought-after CAO Amazon Basin cigar has returned! This exclusive cigar, a limited production by CAO, boasts a complex production process that spans three years for each new release.  Due to the complex nature of production, this highly sought after release has extremely limited availability!

The CAO Amazon Basin features a dark, oily, rosado wrapper that is silky smooth to the touch. Inspired by the ancient Amazon-Indian tie technique, the band consists of a coil of twisted tobacco wrapped around the cigar four times near the tip, allowing smokers to enjoy the unique experience of smoking through the band. The flavor profile is distinctive and refreshing, characterized by robust notes of rainforest sap, peanut, cocoa, and spicy raisins.

In pursuit of a novel and undiscovered tobacco, this tobacco CAO scoured the globe and uncovered an exotic tobacco deep in the Amazon rainforest. Referred to as "Braganca," this tobacco has been cultivated by the Amazon Basin Indians for generations and utilizes a distinctive cultivation and fermentation process unlike other cigars.

Unlike conventional tobacco plantations, where plants are neatly arranged, the seeds for this cigar are handpicked and planted in areas with available sunlight. After harvesting, the leaves are hand-rolled into tubes known as carottes and undergo six months of natural fermentation, akin to the technique used for Andullo tobacco. The journey from forest to factory takes four to six weeks, involving manual transportation to the river, canoeing to the mainland, driving to the port, and shipping to Nicaragua, where the cigars are crafted.
