Bernard Magic Moments Black has a medium-coarse grind with moderate moisture and medium nicotine strength. The colour is very dark, nearly black. The blend uses fermented tobacco with a heavy, oily texture that requires working between the fingers.

The primary note is strawberry, described as roasted and jam-like rather than candy-sweet. Secondary notes include fig, chocolate, molasses, and natural tobacco. The aroma has smoky and earthy undertones with hints of leather.
